Remember the Yebariba Somboribobo crooner, Saucekid also known as Sinzu. Well, for the current generation of hip hop listeners, you can still connect with “Carolina” featuring Davido.
The question on almost everyone’s lips, “where is Sinzu?”
Interestingly, a new report has it that Sinzu, whose real name is Babalola Falemi is imprisoned at Ada County Jail, a medium security prison attached to the Idaho Sheriff’s Department.
Sinzu, has been serving his jail-term for about 10months now, and was imprisoned for grand theft.
Recall in 2014, when he got into a social media fight with Godwon, who is also a rapper and a good friend of Sinzu. Godwon had gone ahead to spill how Sinzu was declared wanted in Houston for alleged credit card scam. He made reference to ABC source where a surveillance video was published of a black male using a woman’s debit card to withdraw $300 from an ATM.
See the thread in 2014:
However, Sinzu came out to deny everything saying Godwon’s accusations were only borne out of contempt.
Now, he got caught in another crime and jailed. If he ever gets out of it, is there a place for him in the music industry?.
His instagram account that hasn’t being active for almost 5months now got updated few hours ago. Here is what he has to say:
My family, friends and fans are the last people I wanted to disappoint right now, so I kept things on a need to know basis with those in my immediate circle. Paparazzi fans took it upon themselves to wish me well, thanks. I am taking care of what's important right now, and working on new music as usual. Heard these streets been dry anyway. Industreet vol 2 coming soon 🔥💯. #Sinzu100Gang I appreciate all of you. #Industreet #SMG #SinzuMusicGroup
He is expected to back in 8 months. Let’s see how he makes a comeback.
