After three year of prolonged strive for the return of over 200 abducted Chibok girls, 21 of them were sent back by the insurgent group. Senator Ali Ndume of Borno South has stepped out to take photos with these girls.
However, controversy continues to trail the return of these girls as it could be recalled at a time that the same senator was alleged of being a sponsor of the terrorist group. The alleged connection to Boko Haram was made following the Nigerian State Security Service’s interrogation of a suspected Boko Haram member and spokesman, Mallam Ali Konduga
Also, at around the same period, Sahara Reporters also reported that a self-proclaimed spokesman of Boko Haram, Ali Sanda Umar Konduga, also known Al-Zawahiri, who was sentenced to three years imprisonment was rearrested at the residence of Majority Leader of Senate Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume.
Well, we hope this isn’t a hoax after all.
