Arsenal narrowly whipped Burnley earlier today at Emirates stadium with two penalties awarded in stoppage time. Sanchez sealed the deal in the 97th minute with a cheeky chip from the spot to outweigh Gray’s penalty just minutes before. The opener from Mustafi was followed by the early exit of Xhaka due to a clumsy challenge.
The first half ended with a 0-0 scoreline, but the old cliche comes to mind here that it was ‘a game of two halves’. Things got incredibly heated towards the end, with Wenger involved in conflict with the fourth official and being sent to the stands as a result.
